Youth Group
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12
As a new and growing generation finding our purpose in Christ, our youth ministry here at Island Baptist Church is a Bible-based program that is aimed at building a solid relationship with God. We strive to create an environment as taught in 1 Timothy 4:12. We actively work to encourage, build on one another, and live by example to all our peers.
Sixth - Eighth Graders
Youth who are in grades sixth through eighth grade meet every Tuesday from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at Island Baptist Church. Those attending will have a meal, a Bible lesson, and game time.
Ninth - Twelfth Graders
Youth who are in grades ninth through twelfth grade meet every Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at Island Baptist Church. Those attending will have a meal, participate in a Bible lesson, and a time of fellowship/game time.
Van rides are provided by Island Baptist Church for youth living on South Padre Island and in Port Isabel, Laguna Heights, and Laguna Vista. If a student needs a ride to attend our youth program, please contact Irma Jacks at Island Baptist Church, 956-761-5029.

All youth participating in the Island Baptist Church Youth program must submit a Medical Release Form annually.
